The Guardian - Something for the weekend...
Electric vehicles aren't known for their looks, but the Xero eClassic may well change that. With its chrome handlebars, sculptured nose and elegant rear end, this electric scooter wouldn't look out of place bouncing down the Spanish Steps with Marcello Mastroianni at the helm. It's the perfect urban runaround: charge it at a standard plug socket for eight hours, and you're good to go for 50 miles, as long as you don't exceed 30mph.
